DAY 1 Belgrade

DAY 3 Osijek – Vukovar – Ilok – Osijek
After breakfast you’ll have the opportunity to explore the wonders of the Slavonia region’s capital. Situated on the right bank of the Drava river, Osijek was originally part of the Austro-Hungarian empire and its influence is evidenced in the regions spicy cuisine and stately buildings. Enjoy a walking tour of Osijek and to Tvrda, a fortified part of the city from the 18th century, to see some of the most valuable examples of Baroque architecture in Croatia, such as the statue of Holy Trinity and General’s-headquarters. Next, venture to Vukovar and immerse yourself in this culturally significant town that has left a lasting impact on the region. Treat yourself to some Strukli at a traditional bakery before heading to Rastoke, a village nestled amidst enchanting waterfalls. Dinner and overnight in Plitvice Lakes region.

DAY 5 Plitvice Lakes – Split
Begin the day with an early visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, the most beautiful and oldest national park in Croatia that’s been under UNESCO protection since 1979. Take a guided tour around the park grounds to admire the lush landscape, turquoise waters, and 16 lakes connected by magnificent waterfalls. Once the tour has ended, drive to Split to board your Dalmatian cruise, or perhaps add an extra night or two in Split to take in the sights of this fabulous historic city.
