DAY 1 Dubrovnik
Welcome to Dubrovnik! You will be met and transferred to your hotel from Dubrovnik Airport. After settling in, you have free time until this evening when you will meet your fellow travellers and Tour Manager for dinner.

DAY 2 Dubrovnik - Shkodra - Tirana
Your day begins with a guided sightseeing tour in Dubrovnik, also called the ''Pearl of the Adriatic''. Here, you will visit the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, Rector’s Palace, and the Cathedral. Afterwards, drive inland via Budva in Montenegro, known for its historic Old City encircled by walls from the Venetian period. Continue to Shkodra in Albania, once the 3rd Century B.C. capital of the Illyrian Kingdom, before ending the day in Tirana.

DAY 3 Tirana - Ohrid
This morning, your sightseeing tour of Tirana includes the huge Skander Bey Square, the Mosque of Ethem Bey, and a visit to the National Museum that showcases many archaeological finds from across the country. In the afternoon, depart for Ohrid in North Macedonia driving via Elbasan and along the top of Lake Ohrid, one of Europe's deepest and oldest lakes.

DAY 4 Ohrid
Today spend the day in the lakeside town of Ohrid, classified as UNESCO's World Heritage site. Your morning tour will include the 11th-century St. Sofia Church with its magnificent Byzantine frescoes, and St. Clement Church. This afternoon, visit St. Naum Monastery which was built on the shores of Lake Ohrid in 900 AD. Tonight, enjoy dinner in a local restaurant.

DAY 5 Ohrid - Skopje
After breakfast, travel to Macedonia’s capital, Skopje. Be charmed by the city on your sightseeing tour, which will take you to see the Kale Fortress, the Church of the Holy Saviour, the old bazaar, and Stone Bridge. Then drive to the slopes of Vodno Mountain to visit the Monastery of St. Panteleimon with its 12th-century icons and Byzantine frescoes.

DAY 6 Skopje - Kolasin
This morning drive via the impressive Moraca River Canyon on your way to Kolasin, Montenegro. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Kolasin, a popular ski resort on the banks of the Tara River, surrounded by the thick pine forests of the Bjelasica Mountains. Stroll the small town from its upper to lower square, wander through the Botanic Garden Dulovine or simply relax at the hotel.

DAY 7 Kolasin - Cetinje - Kotor - Dubrovnik
Depart this morning for Cetinje where you will visit King Nikola’s Museum, once the residence of the Montenegrin King Nikola I Petrovic. Continue to Kotor, classified as UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage site, where you will visit its Romanesque Cathedral dedicated to St Triphun, the city’s patron saint. Afterwards, enjoy driving along the picturesque Bay of Kotor on your way back to Dubrovnik.

DAY 8 Dubrovnik
Your Balkan Tour concludes after breakfast with a transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
