Day 1 Belgrade
When you arrive into Belgrade airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free in order to discover what the city has to offer. In the evening you will be able to meet your fellow travelers with a Welcome dinner.

Day 2 Belgrade
After breakfast, you will experience the sights of the local area. You will be taken to the Krusedol Monastery, one of Serbia's most significant, before moving onto the beautiful town of Sremski Karlovci with its stunning baroque and neoclassic houses. You'll then be taken to one of the local wineries for lunch and wine tasting. Afterwards visit the Petrovaradin Fortress, and finish the day in the city of Novi Sad, before being taken back to Belgrade.

Day 3 Belgrade
This Morning visit the imposing Kalemegdan Fortress, dramatically set at the confluence of the Sava and Danube Rivers. Following this you will see Republic Square and Knez Mihailova Street, Saint Sava Temple and Tito’s Memorial. The day will continue to Avala mountain with it's beautiful panorama of Belgrade below it. After this the rest of the day is free for you to enjoy anything you wish to see, or maybe you can join on an optional excursion to Topola for the afternoon. Here was the site where the leader of the first Serbian uprising was chosen, with the tour continuing to the nearby Oplenac where the Serbian Royal family is buried.

Day 4 Belgrade - Turnu Severin
You leave Belgrade towards the Golubac fortress, with its position upon the hill slope overlooking the Danube river. After this you'll cruise down the most beautiful sections of the river onto the border with Romania and your stay for the night in Turnu Severin.

Day 5 Turnu Severin - Sibiu
Continue our journey via Hunedoara, where we visit one of the largest European castles: The Corvinesti Castle! You'll finish the day in Sibiu.

Day 6 Sibiu - Brasov
Sibiu was once the richest town in Transylvania, and today you will be taken on a sightseeing tour, seeing highlights such as the Evangelical Cathedral and Liar's Bridge. After this you'll move on to Sighisoara, the best-preserved medieval city in southeastern Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage site, and visit the famous Clock Tower Museum. Your day will continue to Brasov, and your opportunity to visit the First Romanian School Museum with its impressive collection of rare books and art.

Day 7 Brasov - Bucharest
Travel on to the famous home of Bram Stoker's Count Dracula, Bran Castle! Next stop off in Sinaia to visit Peles Castle, and on to the wonderful 17th Century Sinaia Monastery. After soaking all that in, end the day in Bucharest, otherwise known as little Paris.

Day 8 Bucharest
Following Breakfast, take in Romania's Capital with a sightseeing tour. See the heaviest building in the world, Parliament palace, as well as the Revolution Square, the Romanian Athenaeum, the Triumphal arch, and visiting the Village Museum. Celebrate your Balkan Adventure tonight with a Farewell Dinner and folklore show.

Day 9 Bucharest
Today you say goodbye to Romania, and will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
