DAY 1 Mestre
Welcome to Italy! Your tour commences with an arrival transfer from Marco Polo Airport to your hotel in Mestre. The rest of the day is at your leisure to discover Venice.

DAY 2 Mestre - Venice - Bled/Bohinj
After breakfast, meet your Tour Leader in the Hotel Reception for your walking tour of the unique floating city of Venice, before continuing towards the lakes region of Slovenia.

DAY 3 Bled and Bohinj
Enjoy a relaxing tour of the glacial Lake Bled, one of the most popular destinations in Slovenia for its picturesque setting. Take a boat ride to the island and visit the famous Bled Castle. The terrace of the castle affords wonderful views of the lake and surrounding mountains – on a clear day you can see Slovenia’s highest mountain, Mount Triglav. The final stop of the day will be Lake Bohinj, one of the best kept secrets in the area. Overnight in Lake Bled area.

DAY 4 Bled/Bohinj - Klagenfurt - Lake Worth - Bled/Bohinj
Today you will travel to the neighbouring country of Austria, offering plenty of views of the Alps. In the historic county of Carinthia, enjoy a panoramic tour of Lake Wörth, a popular vacation spot. Then continue to charming Klagenfurt, a university town with the beautiful Lindworm fountain dominating the old city square. Visit Klagenfurt for a lunch stop before returning to Lake Bled/Bohinj.

DAY 5 Bled - Rovinj/Vrsar
2024: Your first stop today will be the Postojna Caves, one of the largest underground caves systems in Europe followed by a visit to Renaissance Predjama Castle, situated on a high cliff. Afterwards, your journey continues to Croatia to the coastal town of Rovinj.
2025: Visit Slovenia's enchanting capital, Ljubljana for a walking tour of this captivating city. On the way to Croatia, stop at Postojna Caves, one of the largest underground caves systems in Europe for a tour underground. Continue to the Istrian peninsula where you settle in at either Rovinj or Vrsar.

DAY 6 Rovinj/Vrsar - Istrian Peninsula - Rovinj/Vrsar
Enjoy a full day discovering the most precious jewels of the Istrian Coast. A walk through the labyrinth of cobbled streets and the medieval Old Town, offering some of the most picturesque streets in Istria. Depart for inner Istria for a sample of one of Istria's tastiest treats: the truffle. Afterwards, you will visit one of the most renowned olive oil producers to sample various sorts of extra virgin olive oil. Then continue to Pula, a 3000-year-old-city, and visit one of the best preserved amphitheatres in the world.

DAY 7 Rovinj/Vrsar - Opatija - Plitvice Lakes
After breakfast, your first stop is Opatija situated on picturesque Kvarner Bay and the favourite resort of the Habsburgs and the European aristocracy. After free time in Opatija, you will travel to Plitvice Lakes, stopping en route for lunch in the picturesque village of Fuzine. Dine at Bitoraj for a traditional home-style meal of regional delicacies. Arrive this evening at your hotel in the Plitvice area and enjoy dinner at the hotel.

DAY 8 Plitvice Lakes - Split
Join a walking tour of the UNESCO-listed park, the oldest and most beautiful National Park in Croatia. The most scenic area of the park consists of 16 terraced lakes connected by a series of magnificent waterfalls. Your journey continues south to Split, the largest city on the Adriatic Coast. On your evening walking tour, discover Diocletian's Palace, built by the Roman emperor Diocletian. Also, see the Grgur Ninski Statue, the Cathedral, and Bell Tower of St. Domnius.

DAY 9 Split
Your Lakes & Mediterranean Harmony tour concludes with a departure transfer to Split airport or your Croatia cruise.
